Intermediate Vinyl Resist Technique Workshop

Workshop will be held during the 2015 Show Me Gourd Society Festival

Learn to design a layered image gourd using a vinyl resist technique. Please note: The student will be doing all the cutting for the vinyl resist plant design. A cannonball gourd will be supplied pre-cut, the inside cleaned, sprayed and ready to work on. I will show you how to cut and design a plant motif for the cannonball gourd using your ruler, Xacto knife and blank vinyl. You can then create your own designs at home.  Wear old clothes. I will have one craft heat gun, but you may bring yours to help dry the finish quicker.  The gourds will vary in size depending on the shipment I receive before hand. First come, first pick. I will have extra blank vinyl sheets for sale.

Supplies: Bring an Xacto knife, 6"metal ruler, heat gun if you have one, and wear old clothes
